Power TV Review

Any body else hooked on the TV shows Power? I like good TV like the next person but seriously I’m legit hooked, I haven’t been hooked on a show like this since The Wire. The characters, the plot and that fine ass Omari Hardwick. I was disappointed that we didn’t have a new episode this past week but Starz did give a marathon of season 1 and the current season. A marathon that doesn’t lead to a new episode makes no sense to me cause I could have easily watched the episodes On Demand plus I have the show recorded on my DVR but I like background noise so while I worked my TV was tuned to Power.

While watching I found myself getting more involved in the characters and dissecting their decision’s and personalities:

A club owner who doesn’t drink? Tasha & Tommy spoke about Ghost/James/Jamie having a drinking problem on season 1. Now on season 2 he's drinking with everybody. His drinking problem no longer an issue?

Background check- hard to believe that Tasha didn't run a background check on Holly before the FBI did especially after she stole those diamond earrings

Baby Girl: what happened to the little baby girl? The one that almost choked to death because of Jamie & Angie's fieldtrip to the museum

I didn't even catch baby girls name. In fact Ghost and Tasha don’t interact with the kids enough

Red heads- Ghost knows Tommy has issues with red heads why would he hire Holly a red head and than tell Tommy don't touch the merchandise.

Big Mama! Where's Big Mama now that Tasha is making moves to deal with Ghost cheating ass. I want big mama to confront Ghost

Tasha only calls her husband by the name Ghost –I don’t think I’ve ever heard her refer to him as James unless they were putting up appearances

Ghost is always slapping somebody on the ass. That visual makes me smile

Tasha looks better when Ghost dresses her –for somebody with all this money her choice in clothing is very trashy.

Anybody else watching Power? Are you #TEAMTASHA or #TEAMANGIE? If you are not watching Power, what show has you hooked?

3 Things I Love Right Now

I’m that friend that’s always sharing info with friends, sending you emails on current event/sales (As a friend I don’t want you to miss out on a good sale), stupid video clips (some time informative but mostly stupid).  I’m sure my friends are tired of my emails/video clip so I’m going to share them here with the whole world.

These are the 3 things that I'm loving right now.

1. Learn More To Earn More, My Taught You Journal By Myleik Teele - If you personally know me then you're probably saying another journal, why does she need another journal?  She has how many journals already? You’re right I don’t need another journal but I support everything Myleik Teele her podcast have been a life saver on those long rides into work (if you don’t know who Myleik is please Google her, she a young lady that’s had success in creating her own lane & brand). Whenever I need a mind shift or a pep talk I would turn on one of her podcast. Since her podcast have been such a blessing for me I felt that I had to support her by purchasing the journal that is an extension of the podcast. The journal gives you an outline method that you can use along with the podcast to keep you on track, day to day in accomplishing your goals

Truth Moment- I haven’t yet started to use/write in the journal. I want to close out a a few goals (things that have been lingering that I need to bite the bullet on) before I stat writing in my new journal

2. Bella High Power Juice Extractor  –The Doctor recommended that I start juicing to deal with my Amina. I don’t like to eat greens so he thought I would do better with drinking my greens to grow my iron count.  Who knew that I would fall in love with juicing? I sure didn’t see it coming.  I’m juicing everyday now, I’m part of the Bella Lifestyle sharing my juicing recipe on instgram if you follow me your probably sick of me. My doctor was right I prefer drinking my greens as oppose to eating them

My favorite juicing recipe: Chard, Kale, Spinach, Pears & Oranges

3. Bio-Oil - My sister recommended the Bio-Oil to me. She says I’m old and I need to start taking better care of my skin. So twice a day I apply the Bio-Oil. I’ve only been using it for about a month. Bio-Oil helps to improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone, aging skin & dehydrated skin. I haven’t noticed much difference as of yet (the directions say you should use for 3 months but it has my skin feeling good, It gives me that smooth, baby butt feeling after applying.) I’m going to continue using. Anything that can help the aging process is good in my book.

Have you tried any of my favorites? If so, what is your experience with them? What are some of your favorites? Leave your comments below.
